autumn leaves

{ Limburg, Germany }

Dear angel,

I couldn't be any less exciting that my favorite season has finally arrived. Now everything seems, smells and even feels like fall. My little daughter (aka the tiniest member of my family, basically aka my dog) and I had our typical Saturday morning walk outside and this time I decided to bring a book along just because it's fall outside.

We sat on a little hidden corner somewhere in my city and enjoyed all of those lovely little things that only fall can offer. With the cold autumn breeze and all of those dead leaves in the shades of red, brown and orange being some of them. It was the perfect atmosphere for me to read and enjoy my book (Paper Towns by John Green) while my little daughter Ira had a great amount of fun playing with all those dead and reef leaves on the ground.

a lovely Greek breakfast

{ Sunday, August 3rd 2016 // Asprovalta, Greece }

Dear Angel,

This is the fourth day I spent at my aunt's beach house in the beautiful Asprovalta here in my home country Greece. I am having so much fun spending some quality time with my relatives while enjoying my summer to the fullest by living near to the beach. We've wanted to have something else for breakfast today while getting a bit closer to our country's food tradition at the same time which is why we've had two slices of toasted Greek bread with a few slices of tomato and my ultimate favorite and beloved feta cheese. We all sat on our breakfast table together and talked about eventful, stupid and funny shenanigans before we went to the beach. I've had quite the lovely breakfast today. It was something really simple yet delicious and joyful at the same time. I always loved those tiny little moments that bring out the best of you.

Have a lovely day..

buying Greek candy

{ Sunday, July 24th 2016 // Serres, Greece }

A few moments later..

Dear Angel,

After spending an entire day at the beach my aunt and I bought a few candy on our way back home. It's been three years since the last time I've tasted a Greek candy. The moment I got my first bite was the moment I've realized how much I missed them. If you're a candy and a sweet flavor lover you should give them a try at least once in your lifetime. My personal favorite ones are the Kokakia aka some Greek cream puffs with chocolate glaze. Trust me they're delightfully delicious and definitely deserve a bite.
